On 22 October 2025, an information event on the Horizon Europe program took place at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (NAS RA) in Yerevan. Organized by SIPAC, the European Commission’s DG Research &
Innovation, the EU Delegation to Armenia, and NAS RA, the event gathered Armenian R&I stakeholders to discuss Horizon Europe and Armenia’s role in the European Research Area. H.E. Vassilis Maragos, EU Ambassador to
Armenia, highlighted the importance of strengthening EU-Armenia scientific cooperation. The ERA Chair Holder, Prof. Narine Sarvazyan, presented the project’s goals, key achievements, and future plans, underscoring its
role in advancing excellence and international collaboration.
